🫶🌎 GLOBAL HEALTH NIGHT 2026 🌎🫶 One evening. Leading voices. Practical skills. Free dinner. What does medicine look like beyond the clinic? 🌍 Join us for an evening exploring what it means to be a doctor in a world shaped by health inequity, humanitarian crises, advocacy and war. Hear from an incredible lineup of speakers, including Senator Fatima Payman, Perth Doctors for Palestine, and an ex-Australian Air Force veteran, as we unpack the role healthcare professionals can play in responding to some of the biggest global health challenges of our time. From advocating for refugee and marginalised communities, to understanding medicine in the context of conflict, to hearing firsthand perspectives from those working across healthcare, advocacy and the military, this is your chance to broaden your perspective and think about where YOUR profession fits in the world. Because making an impact starts now, not “one day”. 📅 13th October ⏰ 5PM-7PM 📍 Curtin Medical School, 410.101 🍴 FREE DINNER PROVIDED 💫 Don’t miss welfare's final event of 2026, come along, grab some dinner, meet your fellow med students, and leave with new perspectives on the impact you can make through medicine. 🌎 Your impact starts now.
